Full PET/CT Services
Full PET/CT OHIP services are now available at KMH. Select indications for oncology and cardiology are insured by OHIP and requisitions that do not qualify may be submitted for Cancer Care Ontario for review and potential coverage.
KMH has acquired a state-of-the-art PET/CT scanner that can transform the way doctors diagnose and treat cancer, heart disease and neurological disorders.

Our highly qualified, licensed specialists report the complete spectrum of investigations and are available to consult with the referring physician and assist in patient management.
All tests are covered by OHIP with the exception of Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (AMBP) and some uninsured third party services.

Connecting with Physicians
KMH is in the forefront of digital connectivity. KMH is the first and only Independent Health Facility (IHF) to be connected to HRM (Hospital Report Manager), enabling physicians who are connected to receive diagnostic reports from KMH directly to their Electronic Medical Record. KMH is also the first IHF to soon be connected to the Provincial Diagnostic Imaging Repository, enabling physicians to securely access reports and images for their patients who had tests done at KMH.
